Children and young people are placed with us by local authorities across the North West and Midlands areas when they have difficulties in finding appropriate placements with their own foster carers.
The children and young people have diverse needs, both emotional and physical. Our role is to recruit, assess, train, support and supervise foster carers so that they are able to provide for those needs.
Our carers are recruited from the North West and the East & West Midlands regions. We welcome carers from a wide variety of ages, backgrounds and circumstances.
The team consists of professionally qualified and experienced social workers and administrators supported by independent social workers and outreach staff who are all appropriately qualified and supervised. External consultants are employed as required to provide any specialist advice and support to staff and carers.
What makes us different? Well, we'll always try to do it better. Supervising and supporting our carers and the children placed with them is the focus of our work.
