History:

Park Foster Care is a well-established independent fostering agency set up in 2004.  Over the years we have approved foster parents across Staffordshire, Shropshire, Cheshire and Derbyshire areas of England.

Park Foster Care provides a high quality of care and are rated ‘GOOD’ by Ofsted (June 2023) who commented “This well-established team provides stability to children and their foster carers and makes a positive difference to children’s lives”. We are proud that a number of our staff have worked with us for over 15 years, allowing us to provide consistent support to our foster families.

Our foster parents receive therapeutic support to enable them to provide warm, safe and nurturing foster family homes for children & young people, with their needs and aspirations at the heart of everything that we do. When foster parents spoke to Ofsted they described receiving “great support from their supervising social workers”. Our supervising Social Workers are patched based, so are never far away from where they are needed.

Ofsted recognised that “Children receive good quality individualised care. Careful matching, together with the agency’s ongoing support, contributes to a high percentage of placement stability. As a result, children thrive and make good progress.”

Training and Support to our foster families are some of Park Foster Carer’s key strengths. Ofsted highlighted that foster parents “use their learning from training courses and apply this to safeguard children”.

Park Foster Care believe by being PERSON-CENTRED, FRIENDLY, INNOVATIVE, POSITIVE and EMPOWERING our foster parents and staff will feel valued and through the high quality support we provide children will learn to feel that too.
